Until 2016, BR605 ran ICE trains between Berlin, Hamburg, Aarhus and Copenhagen. When they were originally built for German routes with many curves, they were fitted with anti-rolling technology. This turned out to be less stable than they had expected, but after being laid up for a few years, they were given a new lease of life running international trains between Denmark and Germany.
