Märklin 74024 Current-carrying separable short-circuit couplers

Removable close-circuit couplers with single-pole electrical connection for lighting the express train cars of the standard design 1928-30 with lower buffer height according to NEM 303. Suitable for example for the prepared cars 42500, 42510, 42520, 42521, 42530, 42540 when installing LED interior lighting 73410/73411. One car in a train requires a grinder 73406. Contents: 2 current-carrying close-circuit coupler heads for standard coupler brackets with contacts, 2 coupler pull rods with built-in contact springs, 2 spacer plates with soldered cables, 1 ground spring for the bogie with soldered cable, installation instructions. Coupling and uncoupling of the system is possible manually, and coupling can also be used with ordinary close couplings without electrical contact.
