High quality lacquer based paint with a chemical formula superior to other brands on the market. Flows smoothly in an airbrush; adheres to the surface and dries perfectly with a soft finish. Holds all types of weather products. Can be thinned with RC701 / RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints. This paint represents the color variant in the color chart included in the 1938 edition of L.Dv. 521/1 regulations. According to official regulations, the standard color of Luftwaffe aircraft cockpits/crew compartments from about mid-1941, but in practice already used for this purpose from about mid-1940 and in the case of some aircraft even in the pre-war period (i.e. specified as the color of Do 17 E & F crew compartments in 1937). According to official regulations, standard color of the interior surfaces of Luftwaffe aircraft from the summer of 1944. A good match for the color 'Eggplant Grey' used to paint the upper side of some modern Russian strike aircraft (Su-25SM, Su-30SM, Su-34, Su-35).
