Rating for AKRC932 RLM 02 RLM-Grau (1938), 17 ml
The product is not yet rated
High quality lacquer based paint with a chemical formula superior to other brands on the market. Flows smoothly in an airbrush; adheres to the surface and dries perfectly with a soft finish. Holds all types of weather products. Can be thinned with RC701 / RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints. Used to paint Luftwaffe aircraft interior surfaces from around 1935 until the end of World War II (according to official regulations, replaced in this role by RLM 66 in the summer of 1944). Overall color of Luftwaffe fighters in 1935-1936 and trainers (seen in this finish even in the mid-war period). Also used as a camouflage color on the upper surface of Luftwaffe fighters and heavy fighters from late 1939 until about mid-1941, thereafter its role as a camouflage colour was limited to marbling. A reasonable match for BS381C/389 Camouflage Beige (Hamp) used to paint the upper surfaces of RAF Nimrod patrol aircraft, Canberra PR.9 recon aircraft, Victor and VC10 tankers from the 1980s until they were withdrawn from service.
