Rating for AKRC861 Gelbbraun-Yellow Brown RAL 8000, 17 ml
The product is not yet rated
High quality lacquer based paint with a chemical formula superior to other brands on the market. Flows smoothly in an airbrush; adheres to the surface and dries perfectly with a soft finish. Holds all types of weather products. Can be thinned with RC701 / RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints. Used for painting vehicles and other equipment of the German army in the so-called first tropical scheme (Tropen 1) intended for use in Africa from March 1941 to March 1942. According to army regulations, RAL 8000 should cover 2/3 of the vehicle's surface, while the rest is painted in RAL 7008. Both the photographic and documentary evidence confirm that vehicles painted in tropical colors also found use on the Eastern Front. This includes 38 Tiger I tanks issued to the Grossdeutschland Division, SS-LAH, SS-Das Reich and SS-Totenkopf Divisions from December 1942 to February 1943, which were painted in the first tropical scheme similar to the Tiger tanks issued to North Africa.
