High quality lacquer based paint with a chemical formula superior to other brands on the market. Flows smoothly in an airbrush; adheres to the surface and dries perfectly with a soft finish. Holds all types of weather products. Can be thinned with RC701 / RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints. Used for painting vehicles and other equipment of the German army from July 1937 to July 1940 as a complementary camouflage color to RAL 7021 Dunkelgrau (according to official regulations; however, it seems that many military vehicles were only painted in Dunkelgrau already during the Polish Campaign). According to army regulations, RAL 7017 should cover 1/3 of the vehicle surface in the form of irregular spots with soft edges.
