The CarMotion IR Mini - Module makes it possible to send a number of commands to the Car Motion vehicles via infrared signal.

From simply flashing to braking and stopping the Car Motion vehicles, for example in front of an intersection/traffic light. The two infrared transmitter diodes can be placed inconspicuously on the road, but also lying a short distance in the road or in the road shoulder.

Like the vehicles, the module can be conveniently configured in the Car Manager. All macros stored in the vehicles can be called up by the module, even those that cannot be called up using magnetic sequences for technical reasons.

The two IR LEDs send different signals depending on the set operating mode. One of the many applications is stopping precisely in front of a traffic light or the like.

The first IR LED is placed a short distance in front of the traffic light and sends the command to slow down when the traffic light is red. The vehicle then stops gently on an optional stop magnet (north pole). The second IR LED is then in the immediate vicinity of the traffic light and sends the start command when the traffic light is green. For this purpose, the module is controlled directly by the Viessmann traffic light control, part number 5094 or 5095, or the level crossing 5104 or 5107 via the control input.

The input also allows the module to be controlled via switch, relay contact or DCC switching command using a suitable control center (Central Station, ESU ECoS, etc.).
