The directly connected train control relay adds automatic train control to the Art. 5224 and 5229 control modules, but can also be used separately. This allows the control modules to stop the trains automatically. This can be done either by switching off the traction current (separately for the track and the overhead line) or in digital mode, even more prototypically, by switching to the brake module Art. 5232 (for Märklin-Motorola) or a brake generator (for NMRA-DCC). For this purpose, the bistable train control relay has a 2-pole changeover switch, so that the switching position is maintained even when there is no power. The relays must be switched after the minus. Contact load capacity per changeover switch: 2 A.
