Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) Class 290 heavy diesel shunting locomotive. Locomotive road 
number 290 090-0. Ocean blue livery. Operating condition from 1987 onwards.

Model: With mfx digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion 
system centrally mounted. 4 axles driven via cardan shafts. Traction tires. Directional triple 
headlights and two red marker lights operate conventionally; digitally switchable. Headlights on 
locomotive ends 1 and 2 can be switched off separately. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white 
LEDs. The driver figure turns to face the direction of travel and looks out the window when 
stationary. With new Telex coupler and cab lighting. Coupler movement. Cab with detailed interior. 
Metal grab irons and railings. Additional steps under the cab for larger track radii are included. 
Length over buffers 16.4 cm.
