Prototype: Class 648.2 (LINT 41) diesel multiple unit of the German Federal Railway (DB AG). Traffic 
red livery. Version with low-floor entrances. Used in the Koblenz area, with destination display 
"RE25 Gießen". Unit numbers 648 206-0 and 648 706-9. Operating condition circa 2016.

Model: With digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion 
with flywheel mounted in the Jacobs bogie. Two axles powered. Traction tires. Directional triple 
headlights and two red marker lights operate conventionally and can be digitally controlled. 
Headlights on end 1 and end 2 can be switched off separately. Double-A headlight function. Interior 
lighting is fitted as standard. Headlights and interior lighting use maintenance-free warm white and 
red LEDs. Destination display uses prototypical yellow LEDs. Headlights, destination display, and 
interior lighting operate conventionally and can be digitally controlled. Detailed chassis and 
bodywork. Unobstructed view. Closed bellows and close-coupling mechanism on the Jacobs bogie between 
the car halves. Center buffer couplers are depicted at the ends.

Overall length approx. 48.1 cm.

Highlights: Standard built-in LED interior lighting.
With RailCom-compatible DCC/mfx digital decoder.

Illuminated destination display "RE25 Gießen".
