Prototype: Add-on cars for the RABe 501 "Giruno" high-speed multiple unit of the Swiss Federal 
Railways (SBB). 1 intermediate car B (B11), 2nd class, with pantograph. 1 intermediate car C (B10), 
2nd class. Current operating condition 2021.

Model: 2-car add-on set for extending the RABe 501 "Giruno" high-speed multiple unit to an 11-car 
unit. Standard interior lighting with maintenance-free warm white LEDs. The interior lighting is 
powered via the continuous electrical connection of the entire train and is only functional and 
digitally switchable when combined with the main set. The pantograph on one intermediate car can 
also only be raised and lowered separately via the decoder as a digital function when combined with 
the main set. Both intermediate cars are permanently coupled together. Close coupling mechanism in 
the Jacobs bogies. Scale replica. Minimum radius for travel: 360 mm. 
Length of the pair of cars: 40.2 cm.
