Model: Three passenger cars of different types of the Fern Express FD 1980 "Königssee". One half 
dining car type ARmz 211.0 and two open coach types Bpmz 291.2, 2nd class of the Deutsche Bundesbahn 
(DB). Train: FD 1980 from Berchtesgaden to Hamburg Altona. Car serial numbers 65 and 277 (Klagenfurt-
Hamburg cars). Dining car without serial number. Operating condition 1988.

Model: Partial redesign of the ARmz 211.0 half-dining car with built-in digital decoder and 
extensive light and sound functions. Table lamps, open plan living, dining room lighting and 
kitchen/bar lighting can each be switched digitally separately. Multi-coloured interior. All cars 
are equipped with LED cabin lighting as standard. A buffer capacitor is installed in each car to 
bridge short-term power outages. Equipped with separable, live short-circuit switches. The interior 
lighting works together with the dining car and the specified vehicle sequence must be observed. The 
interior lighting in the entire car set can be switched on and off digitally via the decoder in the 
dining car. In conventional operation, the interior lighting is on. Type-specific bogies, roof 
shapes, side walls, undercarriage and aprons. A Bpmz 291.2 large-capacity car has rear lighting 
fitted as standard. Printed vehicle number plates and serial numbers. Toilet drain pipes for the 
dining car are included as separately mountable parts. Minimum driving radius 360 mm. All cars 
individually packed in additional outer packaging. Length over buffer approx. 84.6 cm.
