Trix 22784 ICE 3 multiple unit train, class 403, ep VI

The message is clear: Tolerance for all opinions!

This has generated a great deal of interest: On July 9, 2021, Deutsche Bahn (DB) put an ICE 3 train 
– the Tz 304 "Munich" multiple unit with the two power cars 403 022-7 and 403 504-4 – into service. 
With this, the railway company aims to send a message of diversity and tolerance, of respectful and 
trusting coexistence, and of appreciating the diversity of all people. The train operates on the ICE 
3 schedule and, as the "Railbow ICE," carries a very special message throughout Germany. We 
wholeheartedly endorse this message of diversity, tolerance, and mutual respect. Märklin and TRIX 
are also offering this special ICE for H0 scale model railway enthusiasts.

Prototype: ICE 3 high-speed train, Class 403 of Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG). One BR 403.0 end car, 1st 
class; one BR 403.1 transformer car, 1st class; one BR 403.3 dining car ("Bordrestaurant"); one BR 
403.6 transformer car, 2nd class; and one BR 403.5 end car, 2nd class. Trainset Tz 304, named 
"Munich," with a rainbow-colored stripe as a "railbow." Operating condition from July 2021.

Model: 5-piece set. With mfx digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-
efficiency propulsion system installed in the dining car. 4 axles powered, traction tires. Driver's 
cabs of the end cars with interior details. Directional power supply via the leading end car. 
Special close couplings with guide mechanism. Directional triple headlights and two red marker 
lights, conventional operation, digitally switchable. High beams can be switched on. Standard built-
in interior lighting. The interior lighting is powered by the train's continuous electrical 
connection. It uses maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs.
