This paint uses only blue pigment. It causes minimal cloudiness when mixed and is recommended for creating your own custom shades. 

Use Tamiya Color Lacquer Thinner to thin or clean up.

The stunning tones and shiny glossy finish that airbrushing Tamiya Color Lacquer Paint provides are perfect for model car and motorcycle paint jobs, and its hard membrane lends itself excellently to treatment with polishes. Colors previously only available as sprays - Pearl Blue, Glitter Red, Pure Orange and more - are now available in bottled form, eliminating the need to decant when you want to airbrush.
Great for airbrushing

Tamiya Color Lacquer Paint's true, consistent tones make it perfect for airbrushing large areas. Mix 1 part Lacquer Paint with 1-2 parts dedicated thinner, and go over the subject 2-3 times with your airbrush. Pick out the details with Tamiya Color Enamel Paint: Lacquer paint provides a durable base coat that remains undamaged by enamel topcoats.

No worries about weathering

Tamiya Color Lacquer Paint's resistance to enamel paints is also a great advantage in the weathering process, as enamel paints are most often used for applying washes and depicting dirt, grime and oil - especially on military model parts. Just apply a Lacquer Paint basecoat and start weathering!

• This product has been specially developed to start drying later than typical lacquer-based paints, allowing the modeler to achieve a beautiful, spotless finish when brush painting.
