Since 2001, Green Cargo AB has been the name of the rail freight operator taking over the Swedish State Railways' freight services. In 2009, Bombardier delivered six TRAXX type F140 AC2 locomotives to the company. In 2018, the cooperation with DB Cargo ended, and the locomotives were repainted green and received the new series designation "Br". These machines are used on the Sweden-Denmark-Germany corridor.
