Electric locomotive 193 701 "Ruhrpiercer" of MRCE, leased to SBB Cargo International.

■ Named "Ruhrgebiet" (Ruhr Area)
■ Both sides with different designs for the SBB subsidiary RT&S
■ Finely detailed model with four pantographs
■ Cross-border freight service
■ Freestanding grab rails, some made of metal
■ Digital operation with switchable high beams and individually switchable headlights, taillights,
and cab lighting
■ In cooperation with Railcolor Design

With the MRCE Vectron 193 701, SBB Cargo International has once again created a special locomotive
dedicated to its subsidiary RT&S. Two different designs were developed for the Duisburg-based
company, featuring landmarks and elements typical of the region. One side depicts the historical
past of the burgeoning industry, while the other portrays the Ruhr area as it is today. To match the
design, the locomotive features a coat of arms specially created for it on all four corners, which
combines the distinctive office building housing RT&S and SBB Cargo Germany in Duisburg with the
logo for coal and mining.
