The electric locomotive was delivered to the DR (East German Railways) in March 1986 under the 
number 243 124. At the beginning of 1992, it was renumbered 143 124. After being decommissioned by 
DB AG (German Rail) on May 1, 2011, it was operated by RBH (Erfurter Bahnservice GmbH). In 2021, the 
locomotive received its modern, striking livery for Erfurter Bahn Service 
GmbH.
