With the H0 model of the electric locomotive Vectron, PIKO meets the wishes of PIKO fans who, both 
as layout operators and as collectors, have opted for models based on prototypes of the latest 
railway technology. With the Vectron, PIKO delivers a highly precise model, based on a solid zinc-
cast frame and equipped with proven PIKO standards, with numerous additional features. The proven 
PIKO engine provides excellent driving characteristics with two large flywheel masses. The traction 
of the locomotive, which is driven over all four axles, is reinforced by two traction tires, which 
are located on the inner driving axles of both bogies in a diagonal arrangement to each other. The 
front and rear lights are illuminated by LEDs, whose red and white colors change with the direction 
of travel. The elegant exterior appearance of this model includes an accurately reproduced technical 
"roof image" and carefully detailed bogies with prototypical wheel disc profiles. In the sound 
version, the model already has an mfx®-compatible Plux22 sound decoder from the factory.
