With the H0 model of the Vectron "Flixtrain" electrical locomotive in Era VI, PIKO meets the desires of PIKO fans who have chosen to be both operators and collectors of models based on the most modern railway technology. With the Vectron, PIKO delivers a highly precise model that is based on a solid die-cast zinc frame and equipped with proven PIKO standards, featuring numerous extras. The tested PIKO motor, with its two large flywheels, ensures excellent running properties. The traction of the locomotive, which is driven on all four axles, is enhanced by two traction tires arranged diagonally to each other on the inner axles of both bogies. The lighting of the front and rear lamps is provided by LEDs, which change from red to white depending on the direction of travel. The outwardly elegant appearance of this model includes an accurately replicated technical "roof landscape" and carefully detailed bogies with prototypically correct wheel disc profiles.
