New 2025: Vectron Dual Mode BR 248 as a design variant from PIKO in the IC paintwork of DB AG in era 
VI. The large sides with the striking fans and the roof with pantograph characterize the appearance 
of the modern Vectron Dual Mode. Great attention was also paid to details in the design and tooling: 
Extremely vivid engravings of the ventilation grilles and bogies with a unique visual depth effect 
emphasize this. Technically, the model continues the tried-and-tested line of PIKO design. A 
powerful central motor is used for propulsion, two flywheels ensure excellent driving 
characteristics, and diagonally placed traction tires make it possible to transport long trains. In 
digital operation, the cab and cab lighting can be controlled digitally. The modern PluX22 interface 
allows for the quick connection of a suitable decoder. The model is also prepared for uncomplicated 
retrofitting of sound with the largest possible speaker.
