Prototype: Steam locomotive with tender, class 038.10-40 of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) with Witte smoke deflectors. Former Prussian P8. Model: chassis, locomotive body, tender and add-on parts largely made of metal. Highly detailed model with many added details and a detailed cab. With digital mfx decoder, regulated high-performance drive, and sound generator with wheel-synchronous running sounds as well as extensive sound functions. Operation possible with AC, DC, Märklin Digital, and DCC. 3 driven axles. Built-in smoke generator with wheel-synchronous steam emission and cylinder steam. Three-light front signal with era-appropriate light color alternating with the direction of travel. Headlights and smoke set operate conventionally, digitally switchable. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white LEDs. With engine, cab, and firebox lighting. Engine at the front with screw coupling, at the tender with screw coupling. The locomotive comes with an accessory package including screw and claw couplings, as well as a driver and fireman figure. Minimum track radius that can be driven: 1,020 mm. Overall length over buffers: 58.1 cm.
