Märklin 39885 Steam locomotive BR 044

Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) Heavy Freight Train Steam Locomotive class 044, with 
standard kultender 2 2'T34. Black/red basic color. With Witte wind deflectors of control version, 
initial wheel set with oak wheels, without smoke chamber central lock, with Indusi magnets on both 
sides. Locomotive operating number 044 657-5. Operating status around 1973.

Model: With mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-performance drive 
with balance mass in the boiler. 5 axles driven. Self-adhesive cover. Locomotive and coal tender are 
largely made of metal. Equipped for smoking set 7226. Dependent travel direction changing 
three-light peak signal and retrofit smoke set conventional, digitally switchable. Call for cabs, 
flipper and flickering on the ash box can also be switched separately digitally. Lighting with 
maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. Short coupling with kinematics between locomotive and 
tender. On the back of the tender and on the front of the locomotive kinematics-controlled short 
coupling with NEM axle. Can be driven on at least four 360 mm. Piston rod protection tubes, brake 
hoses and screw clutch imitations are included. Length above buffer 26 cm.
