Märklin 55160 Steam Locomotive Class S 2/6 'Museum' Spur 1

Prototype: Express steam locomotive S 2/6 in green base color with red wheels. Designed by the K.Bay.St.B. as a locomotive for high-speed trials. Locomotive number 3201. Replica of the condition around 2017. The machine is preserved and is located in the Transport Museum in Nuremberg.

Model: Completely new construction made of metal. Chassis, locomotive body with boiler and cab made of die-cast zinc. Other attached parts largely made of metal (MS). Elaborate model with many attached elements and highly detailed cab. Smokebox door can be opened. Movable cab doors, and much more. With mfx digital decoder with 32 functions, regulated high-performance drive and sound generator with wheel-synchronized running sound as well as extensive sound functions. Operation with AC, DC, Märklin Digital, and DCC possible. Built-in buffer capacitor. All driving axles powered. Built-in smoke generator with wheel-synchronized steam emission, multi-stage cylinder steam, and steam whistle. Running gear Red rear train signal switchable/on-off and cab lighting. Digital switch, multicolored firebox lighting (flickering) with motor-driven firebox flap and rotating fireman figure for prototypical reproduction of feeding the firebox. Switchable motor-driven lowering tender coal imitation. Equipped with spring buffers, front of the locomotive model with screw coupling, rear with remotely controlled Telex coupling (replaceable at the rear with screw coupling). Control switch (forward, reverse, continuous operation) in 3 stages. Built-in locomotive driver figure. The model includes an accessory package with a screw coupling, steam oil, and gloves. Mounted on a black-painted aluminum base for display case presentation. Minimum traversable radius 1,020 mm. Length over buffers approx. 66.2 cm. Weight approx. 6.8 kg.
