Märklin 42989 Passenger Car Set 2 "Munich-Nuremberg Express"

Prototype: Two pressure-sealed, open-plan passenger coaches, type Bpmz 295.4, 2nd class, for the RE 
4018 regional express train from Munich to Nuremberg, operated by Deutsche Bahn 
AG (DB AG). Standard livery: traffic red. Operating condition: 2017.

Model: Both coaches feature factory-installed warm white LED interior lighting. Both coaches have 
factory-installed, current-conducting close-coupling mechanisms. The interior lighting only 
functions when coupled with the control car from set 42988 and can be digitally switched on and off 
via a decoder. Type-specific roof shapes, side walls, undercarriages, skirts, and interior fittings. 
Features of pressure-sealed coaches, such as SIG gangways. MD bogies without generators. Both 
coaches have printed destination boards and different running numbers. Minimum radius for operation: 
360 mm. Total length over buffers: approx. 56.5 cm.
