Märklin 42190 Swiss Express passenger car set

Prototype: Swiss Federal Railways (SBB/CFF/FFS) type four standard passenger cars EWIII. One semi-
dedicated car type AD, 1st class, one dining car type WR and two large capacity cars type B, 2nd 
class. Pebble grey/blood orange Basic colour of Swiss Express. Train service: Geneva-Lausanne-Bern-
Zurich HB. Car trim numbers 1, 13 and 14. Dining car without regular number. Operating status from 
1975.

Model: Complete new construction of the EWIII family. Multi-coloured interior. All cars with 
standard built-in LED interior lighting. A buffer condensate conductor is installed in each car to 
bridge short-term downstreamless areas. Dining cars with illuminated table lamps. A large capacity 
car has a standard built-in train closing lighting. Equipped with separable, current-carrying short 
couplings. The interior lighting works in combination with the rear tailgate, the specified vehicle 
order must be observed. Type-specific bogies, roof shapes, side walls and bases with many set 
details. Buffer height according to NEM. Separately attached fans, handle bars, control cables and 
steps on the bogies. Printed car plates and history numbers. Two plug-in exaggerated front doors are 
included in each car, which were attached to the model for transfers. The tail-recessed light car is 
also complicit in an imitation of an automatic coupler. All cars individually packed in additional 
outer packaging. Up-to-load minimum radius 360 mm. Length over buffer approx. 113.2 cm.
