Märklin 39478 Electric locomotive series 101

Prototype: Express locomotive series 101 of Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG). Color in traffic red, like a train locomotive for ICE express train cars from the former Metropolitan passenger train cars (MET). Locomotive operating number 101 131-1. Operating status around 2015.

Model: With digital decoder mfx+ and extensive noise functions.
Controlled high-performance drive with flywheel mass, centrally installed. 4 axles driven by cardan.
Tie rings.
Direction of travel, changing three-light tip signal and 2 red tail lights conventional in operation, digitally replaceable. Remote headlights and driver's cabin lighting separately digitally switchable.
Maximum light on locomotive side 2 and 1 can be switched off separately digitally.
Double A light function.
Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red light-emitting diodes (LEDs).
On locomotive side 2, a 2-pin coupling is inserted into the standard axle, as an electrical connection to high-speed train car 1 of the ICE express car set 42930.
A normal short coupling head is inserted into the standard axle on locomotive side 1.
Length over buffer 21.9 cm.
