Märklin 29488 Digital Starter Set "Swiss Freight Train with Re 620"

Prototype: Re 6/6 heavy electric locomotive, designated Re 620, of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), 
used for SBB Cargo freight service. Painted in fire-engine red. Features include square headlights, 
a UIC socket, and angled grab rails. One side of the locomotive has a maintenance hatch for the air 
conditioning system. Three different Swiss freight cars are shown: one four-axle open Eaos wagon, 
one Hbbillns sliding wall wagon, and one two-axle stake wagon. All cars are operated by the Swiss 
Federal Railways (SBB/CFF/FFS). This is the current operating condition.

Model: Locomotive in metal construction, with an mfx digital decoder and extensive sound functions. 
Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a centrally mounted flywheel. Four axles (both axles of 
each outer bogie) are driven via cardan shafts, with traction tires. Directional triple headlights 
and one white taillight (Swiss light change) digitally switchable. Headlights on locomotive ends 1 
and 2 can be digitally switched off, double-A light function. Lighting switchable to two red 
taillights. High beam, cab lighting, and engine room lighting digitally switchable. Lighting with 
maintenance-free, warm white and red LEDs. All cars with close couplings. Train length approx. 
72 cm. Contents: 12 curved track sections 24130, 5 straight track sections 24188, 7 straight track 
sections 24172, 2 curved track sections 24224, and 1 pair of turnouts 24611 and 24612. Track 
connection box, 230 V/36 VA switching power supply, and Mobile Station. Illustrated instruction 
booklet with many tips and suggestions. Expandable with C Track extension sets and the entire C 
Track system.
