Express train set with four express train cars for the long-distance train F 38 "Hans Sachs" of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (German Federal Railway).

The set consists of three express train cars of the UIC-X type, class Aüm, and one dining car, class WR4ü-38.

From 1952, the Deutsche Bundesbahn put into service the express train cars known as UIC-X cars. These cars featured a level of comfort previously unknown in Europe. The UIC-X cars were immediately used in high-quality express train services. The existing F-train network (until 1956 with the then first and second class carriages, thereafter only first class) was quickly converted to the UIC cars.
