The scrapping of the rotary steam snow blowers used on the Gotthard and the need to expand the snow 
blower fleet and have a reserve led to the purchase of two self-propelled diesel snow blowers from 
the Beilhack company in 1980, Rosenheim (D). This design, which has already been delivered to Norway 
and Austria, is also proving its worth on the Gotthard, where the two snow blowers were or were 
stationed in Göschenen and Erstfeld. A special feature of this design is that the entire car bridge 
can be rotated 180°, allowing the blower to change its working direction.

Note: The model can only be used to a limited extent in analog mode, so we recommend digital 
operation. In analog mode, the snow thrower starts moving, the headlights and driving sound are 
activated, and the bucket wheels also rotate.
