ESU 59110 Lokpilot 5 FX micro DCC/MX/SX, 8-pin

The LokPilot 5 Fx micro and its "twin" LokPilot 5 Fx micro DCC are extremely small function decoders with a size of only 8.0 mm x 7.0 mm and a thickness of only 2.4 mm (on the capacitor: 2.9 mm). It is used in all vehicles in N to H0 that do not have motor power but still need to be able to switch lighting effects. The LokPilot 5 Fx micro decoders are always offered with an 8-pin interface. Operating modes The LokPilot 5 Fx micro is a real multi-protocol decoder. It masters the DCC data format as well as Motorola® and Selectrix®. In DCC format, 14 to 128 speed steps are just as natural as 2 and 4-digit addresses and up to 32 functions. Thanks to RailComPlus®, the decoders automatically log on to a suitable digital control system. It masters all DCC programming modes and, thanks to RailCom®, the CV values ​​on the main track can be read out with appropriate control systems. Auxiliary registers are available for control centers that can only program CVs from 1-255. Motorola® users benefit from up to 28 speed steps with 255 addresses. Three additional Motorola® addresses enable the activation of 16 functions. A built-in programming mode also enables reprogramming with the venerable 6021 control unit. The LokPilot 5 Fx DCC “only” speaks the DCC protocol, but can also be automatically logged into the relevant control center using RailComPlus®. The LokPilot 5 Fx micro decoder recognizes Märklin® braking distances as well as ZIMO® HLU/ZACK commands or the Lenz® ABC system. Braking with DCC brake modules or with DC voltage is also possible. It also stops with a Selectrix® brake diode. An automatic shuttle train makes it possible to automatically commute between two stations. This is also important for a function decoder to be able to synchronize control cars and motor vehicles. The LokPilot 5 Fx decoder can be used on analog DC railways. The decoder automatically switches between operating modes "on-the-fly". Normally, nothing needs to be set. Functions The LokPilot 5 Fx micro or LokPilot 5 Fx micro DCC is equipped with an astonishing number of function outputs. There are 6 amplified function outputs with 180 mA output current each and two logic level outputs for servos or Susi. The brightness of each output can be adjusted separately. Operational reliability On request, a PowerPack can be connected to the LokPilot 5 Fx micro and LokPilot 5 Fx micro DCC to bridge dirty rail sections.
