In this series of paints you will find over 30 different shades that can be used to paint modern ship models true to the original. In addition to the paints, there is also a primer/primer, thinner and a thickener (to make too thin paint usable again). Supplied in plastic bottles with a resealable screw cap, each containing 22 ml. Billing Boats acrylic paints are easy to apply with brushes and airbrushes. They are non-toxic and do not contain strong-smelling solvents, are quick-drying, have good covering power and are durable. To achieve an even covering paint, it is recommended to first apply a primer: for plastic KR-320100 or KR-321100 and for wood KR-80110, KR-80120 or KR-44097. Preferably dilute the paints with Billing Boats Acrylic Thinner KR-BCA040 or, if this is not available, with water until a milky consistency is achieved. Mixed paint should flow nicely and evenly without dripping or lumps. Billing Boats acrylic paints must not be diluted with substances or thinners from other manufacturers, as such mixtures cannot be stored. If you are using paints from an old, already used paint jar, you should filter the paint to be on the safe side. In order to be able to spray long and thin lines with airbrush guns without problems, you should definitely use Billing Boats thinner KR-BCA040. Only then is it possible to spray with a low spray pressure and a small amount of air. Spraying with low air pressure ensures that the paint does not dry on the way to the model. Processing the paint with the brush does not require any special measures. The best results are achieved when the paint is applied in several thin layers. Brushes, airbrush guns and other tools should be cleaned with water immediately after use. Dried paint residues cannot be dissolved with Billing Boats thinner. You should use special cleaning agents such as KR-303006 for this.
Billing boats

Billing Boats is a traditional model building company from Denmark with beautiful ship types from the
North Sea, but also with well-known classics such as Calypso or African Queen. The invention of the
half-hull construction comes from Mr. Billing personally, where two hull halves are first built flat
on the building board and then assembled. The 600 series from Billing Boats is made in this construction, which is
particularly suitable for beginners. Billing Boats has unfortunately had a very difficult phase in the last three
years, from which the company is steadily and calmly working its way back out with great commitment from the
Billing family. However, longer delivery times or unexpected production bottlenecks can sometimes be expected,
for which the family asks for your understanding and patience. Billing Boats also consistently uses
laser technology to cut out the wooden parts and provides beautiful fittings made of plastic and brass.
The kits are always designed for quality at an affordable price.
