You'll find half-timbered houses primarily in Lusatia (Germany), but also in Lower Silesia (Poland), North Bohemia (Czech Republic), the Elbe Sandstone Mountains and the Ore Mountains, the Vogtland region, northern and western Saxony, and eastern Thuringia. These distinctive timber-framed houses were mainly inhabited by linen weavers, forest and factory workers, glassmakers, small farmers, and craftsmen. The log and half-timbered construction has been faithfully reproduced. An antenna, water pump, and bench are included.
