Service and residential buildings. Railway managers used to look after a smaller section of track than they do today. The administrative staff often consisted only of railway inspectors and clerks. For this reason, buildings were built at larger stations that, in addition to the offices on the ground floor, had to accommodate at least one apartment for the railway manager on the first floor. Our set is based on such a building from 1900.
